1. be up to sth.  be up to sth.表示“正在干，从事于（尤指坏事）；在捣鬼；（体力或智力上）能胜任”。如：  He is up to no good. 他尽做坏事。  What have you been up to lately?  近来你一直在搞什么名堂？  He’s not up to the job. 他无法胜任这项工作。 [知识拓展]  be up to sb.表示“是某人负责；由某人决定”，常用it作形式主语，用动词不定式作真正的主语。如： It’s not up to you to tell me how to do my job.   还轮不到你来对我指手划脚。 2. the way+定语从句  当the way作先行词，其后接定语从句时，关系词可用in which 或that，也可省略关系词。如：  She smiles the way (that/in which) her mother does.  她笑起来和她妈妈一样。
